Wanted to explore HK today and found this art Museum near by. Entry was free so thought why not. Well worth the visit as lots of fun art from different periods on display. Some of the displays were also interactive making it more than just looking. As it is right outside the MTR station, super easy to find

For a 6-8 hours of layover, you can’t find any other better way to experience HongKong! Highly recommend it. It took less than 50 minutes to get there from Airport, the walkway is mainly underground - so good for hot or rainy days! Free entry, and a tip to everyone: from the third floor windows, you can have the best view of the Victoria Bay. The collection is not huge, but the curators are smart - they put quite a few elegant exhibitions together with some coherent themes. Love it!

Allot at least a whole day to explore this gem of a museum. I only had two hours to explore all five floors of exhibits and try to imbibe all that explotion of art, culture, and history. Each floor has a unique art proposition, so it’s definitely for everyone. Free admission too, and if you are carrying bags, don’t worry, they also offer free lockers at the ground floor.

Absolutely fantastic museum. Particularly love that they have modern interpretations alongside the historical art. I love that you follow a theme throughout the exhibits where you select your personality in a quiz and then it recommendeds exhibits and eras. This could seem gimmicky but actually helped me remember sections. I absolutely loved the contrast in the different periods of calligraphy and also the glass snuff pots.

One of the recommended places in Hong Kong. It's a great place, with lots of paintings and other exhibitions. It's also aesthetically pleasing, and it's a great place to learn. The location is quite accessible and close to the sea. It's also free to go.
